BCS defenders, PLEASE convince me why it doesn't suck my left...?

I understand the "it makes every game a playoff" arguement but that's not true. Boise beat up Oregon but Oregon was ranked higher, Houston beat Ok St but they were still ranked higher. Or when 3 BCS conference teams finished undefeated a few years ago. Why is BCS better than a playoff system (I'm partial to the 24 team system that still uses every bowl and has a NIT like secondary playoff)
