Can you rate my poem please?

as a poem - to much use of the word "I". Also, we don't know a lot about the main characters: "I" and "my parents" so it is really hard for the reader to 1) identify with either of them and 2) sympathize with either of them. We just don't know anything about them. Also, it is full of broad words like "everything" and "nothing" - these words put a reader to sleep. Use more specifics.
