Ok, so my friend had been talking with this guy on the personals for a month and he would always dodge personal questions she was asking. One day, he asked if he could call her. She said yes, gave him her number and he blocked his number when he called her. That was weird. Then, later on, she finally got his number from him but when she called it, he hung up. She asked why and he made up some lame excuse. Anyway, her mom ran a trace on his phone number. It was listed under someone else's name. We googled THAT name and found a different photo of a different guy. So, obviously he is using another guy's pic to run his Yahoo personal ad and even another guy's name. He's a weird freak too. I have a personal story for you. When I was 15, me and three friends decided to go out. I had never had an alcoholic beverage or done any kind of drug beside tylenol. Well they showed up to my house that night and they were toasted, both high and drunk. They would always tease me about being such a "good" person for not doing what they do. Well, they asked me to go along for the ride...since they were my friends I agreed because I didnt want them to think I didn't wanna be their friend anymore. After about 30min of them swerving through lanes, and falling asleep; I told them to pull over and let me out. I walked home that night pissed off that I even got in the car with them. Well later that night I found out that they got into an accident and all three of them died. The official report said that all of them were so drugged up that none of them could have been in their right mind, and their blood alcohol content was way over the legal limit for an adult, and they were only 15. I told my mother that I was in that same car with them, but I got out because I saw how toasted they were. It still hurts me today to know that I let my friends get that far on drugs and alcohol. I could have stopped them when they first started. I could have done something, even if it meant me fighting each one by one to knock sense into them. I let alcohol and drugs litterally take my friends life...dont let it do the same to yours...

Which one SUV or a car?

ok Im having trouble deciding what car or SUV I should get. The SUVs I like is Ford Escape, Mazda Tribute, and KIA Sorento. when you sell your grain to the elevator at harvest they pay you what ever the price of corn is at the chicago board of trade at that time unless you have already contracted it to the elevator sometime early in the year. there is always a difference in the price the elevator pays the farmer and what the chicago board of trade is and this is called the basis. when corn was 2.00 dollars per bushel in years past the basis maybe as little as 5 cents off chicago. last fall as corn prices climbed and another record breaking harvest was produced the basis went to 1.10 per bushel. generally the basis gets larger in the fall when the crop is harvested. farmers are not like most businesses. farmers do not tell grain companies how much they want for their grain but ask them how much will you give me for my grain. no, ethanol and biodiesel is not running the price of food up. corn for ethanol and soybeans for biodiesel are only a very small part of the reason for food costs increases. the cost of energy and the declining value of the dollar are the main culprits for rising grain prices in the u.s. plus the the fact that we in the u.s. are now competing for grain from china, india and many other asian countries whose standard of living has been rising and are now able to buy more food. if grain prices fall back to levels seen for the last 20 years farmers in this country will be wiped out completely because the cost of seed, chemicals, fertilizer and fuel has incresed dramatically along with the price of grain. if the u.s.a. does not embrace biofuels and other alternative forms of energy we will be sending more and more money out of our country than is coming in and will eventually be very detrimental to all of us. what if the terrorists countries one day say they want to sell their oil to some other country or they run out of oil,then what will we put in ours cars.trucks, planes and trains. probably what will happen is the biofuel industry will be killed off by the oil companies like all other alternative energy programs have been and we will still be buying more and more oil from the middle east and the oil shieks will build more and more palaces for their princes and more and more money will flow to terrorists.

I was just doing an online quiz as part of my preparation for my upcoming exams. I came across a question which asked whether cardiac and smooth muscles have neuromuscular junctions and the answer was no. I'm not sure why this is. Don't they need a NMJ in order to receive signals to generate action potentials? I know that the cardiac muscle cells are electrially connected but how is an action potential generated in the first place without a NMJ present? M2 Buell snapping belts?

My bud bought a use M2 with about 20k or so on it. He'd had it about a year and the belt snapped at a stop light. We replaced it and now less than 3000 miles latter the damn thing snapped again! He had the local Harley dealer set the bike up for him (new shock, adjust suspension, tune, oil, etc.) just a few hundred miles ago. Now my bud is not an aggressive rider. im 16, just recently i recovered from an injury. I had a very nasty fall while i was running. Ideas on a dessert for my grandparents 40th anniversary party?

My grandma & grandpas 40th anniversary party is this Sunday. They have done so much for me and my entire family. My grandma is the funniest woman I have ever met(: she does whatever she can to make others happy, and satisfied, and always focuses on others rather than herself...and my grandpa is the most dedicated, and respected man I have ever met. He worked for the post office for 38 straight years, NEVER missing a day of work. He retired about 5 years ago, and still volunteers on the Midway Boat Museam almost every day. Has anyone stopped and thought that maybe all of the sanitizing we do to our children and animals, wont actually help them....but hinder them. I know that my grandparents and their children and pets survived just fine without Purel. Congratulations.:O) My suggestion is to come up with lesson plans for the semester. Planning is really important in teaching and come up with a syllabus for the students. When I plan, I plan around a concept and from there I start getting specific as to how I am going to teach and what activities will help me get to what I want my students to learn and I come up essments afterwards. In the mock lecture, or microteaching and in your case, macroteaching, I would teach a segment out of your unit and lecture as if you are lecturing in an actual clroom. Use things that will support your lecture. Before you actually go into a teaching segment, explain to them your concept and what you have taught before you got to the actual demo. I would possibly come up with handouts and how to write a lesson plan. Taking education cles will also help. It's good to know you know the content area. When you lecture you can provide examples. Why is my dad so mean to me?

My dad is always brining me down, I try to ignore it and think of other things, but i just cant. He yells at me for little things almost everyday, always yelling. He blames me for being so bad, and when i try to ask him what i do wrong, he laughs or says i dont get it, and when i ask him what i can do to be better, he just says he doesn't want to talk to me any more. This really gets to me, i usually just end up crying in my room and cant hold it together in front of him, we always fight and yell and i just cant take it! I've had quite a few experiences when he has called me bad names, and when i confront him and tell him that it truly hurt me to a big extend, he scoffs or says "oh no it hasnt! dont be a drama queen" i feel like i cant talk to him or show emotion, he gets my hopes up by trying to be good then just knocks them down, he criticizes how i dress or my makeup, and it lowers my confidence badly. I lost my mom 10 years ago, and i know its hard for him but why does he have to be like this? i encourage him to hang out with his friend or go on dates but he just sits at home. I want to make things better so he'll be civil to me, I want to do things like clean the house so he'll like me, but I try and i just think 'why am I doing this for a person who treats me so badly?' its so hard. I am a hunter and fisherman, A few years back while deer hunting in ohio we took a deer into a check station and has a group of people verbally atack us. Saying things like what did that deer ever do to you and calling us names and such.. My view is that we hunt because we love the animal. I have an eating disorder and I self harm, but today I binged and ate so much. I was diagnosed with 'a bit of bronchitis' 3 weeks ago, while abroad, I completed 10 day course of augmentin (in case of secondary infection). You can, but you have to know the construction of the wardrobe to do it. If it is pressed wood or MDF with no veneer, the process is a little easier. Where I live, temporary housing is just that. Perhaps during the loss of a home due to fire or flooding, a family needs an immediate place to stay. Not necessarily a place that is in the right location or big enough to fit their family, but a place that all can be together. During tragedies, closeness of family being together can give children a stable feeling in an unstable situation. These places that they are allowed to stay are simply a stopping off point to getting in another location, therefor they are considered temporary, until a permanent location can be found. That is why there is a need for both. During floods and fires there is not always enough housing to fulfill the needs that are present. Some government agency are equipped with camping type trailers that can be moved to the required locations quickly to fulfill these needs. I ripped a cd with Windows media player, but now I want to rip the same cd into mp3 format since I screwed up the first time and ripped into wma instead, but when I try to rip the cd, it says that it has been ripped and won't let me do it again. It keeps ejecting the cd. How do I re-rip a cd?

Why are chevy Aveo cars cheap? are they bad cars?

Okay i should be a little biased because i am a total GM fan boy, however i only like GM because i believe they build great cars and the Aveo is not one of them. Like people above said, the aveo is built in Korea. Because of the large cost of labor here in the US, GM decide to build this vehicle in Korea where labor is much cheaper. however, that means that build quality is terible and because the entire vehicle was a half *** job it isn't a very good car at all. the ride is unrefined and the powertrain is no the best. the price is just about the only bright spot in the Aveo. the focus is slightly better, but you would be best going for a vehicle like the toyota yaris or honda fit. and someone said that the cobalt is a good car and although i agree it is better than the aveo, it still falls short of the competition like the corolla or civic. Small cars right now are not in GM or Ford's arsenal, if you are buying a small car i suggest japanese for now.

I lost my old favorite Sweet and Sour Meatball recipe. For the meatball, I remember it included evaporated milk and oatmeal. The sauce call for pineapple that you drained and mixed the pineapple juice with some cornstarch to thicken and vinegar also. You put the pineapple chunks back in before pouring over the meat. I think the recipe also called for optional peppers sliced and added in at that point.You would fry the meat in a pan in the oven and then throw them into your crockpot and pour the sauce over them and cook until sauce thickened. It was great over rice. Got anything like that?

Should I change my girlfriend...?

I have a girlfriend who I have been going out with for 2 yrs. She's a very sweet, and mature girl (I'm 22 and she's 26); however, I feel that her personality and mine don't match up too well. She knows how to cook for me, understands when I'm tired, knows how to give me a mage when I need it. My family loves her for these qualities and being a goodie good girl, and her mom is amazing; they just love to give and give and give. Almost seems like everything's too perfect. However, there are drawbacks... she's a pretty reserved person, and every time I go out with her or with our friends she has very little to say, and I don't want people to get the wrong message that she's antisocial or whatever. She doesn't have a lot of girlfriends to go out with, so she doesn't spend too much time figuring out out how to have fun either. Some times she can be too serious, and can't relax and just take a breather. Another thing is that she is not confident enough to lead anything or do anything beyond a certain boundary. She doesn't even want to try some times and that's what ticks me off a bit. She is always obsessed with getting married, and I feel she is taking the relationship a little too fast. Overall, I feel that I might be bored over time, and end up cheating on her. I don't want to enter that route. Something I am really scared of. She doesn't like to even dress up or look pretty for herself, yet she is always beating herself up and saying she is ugly. It puts me in awkward situations sometimes. I know I listed more cons than I did pros, but hopefully, I get my message across. I just want to know if I should try to change her? (I know everyone has to be themselves, but please just think about this on a deeper level) And maybe I should give her a bit of influence in the other direction so our relationship could be a little more interesting? Or should I just find a cuter funner girlfriend? This is a situation where people would say that I have the "wife at home" as opposed to the "trophy wife"; I want both. Sorry I'm picky like that, but this isn't about buying clothes and shopping at the mall, this is about a relationship for the future. Should I find ways to boost her self confidence and try to make her less boring? Or should I not even try, and then find a new girl friend? Just a random thought maybe some of you can relate to: How many of you watch the office? Do you guys see how many girls didn't seem to fit in with Michael? Like Jan, she is a powerful woman with a lot of things, but she lacks the qualities that Holly has with him. Same thing, I can't have fun with her the same way I did with my ex's. The feeling's just not the same. At the same time, I guess I'm doing something right because we have never argued in our two years (and now you know how boring it can get). To make a long story short: I'd say she would make a perfect wife, but a terrible girlfriend. She has all the qualities of what a wife should have; but lacks some of the things a girlfriend should have or do. But at this age, I'm no where close to getting married; but still I love her for being so sweet. I tend to use the names of people I went to school with or indeed were neighbours when I was a child although I mix up the first names and the surnames. If I can't come up with anything then I usually refer to the phone book. It's amazing what you can get from one of those. Good luck with your search and your story.

It lets off some steam. It can have drawbacks - like if you feel guilty about what you said, or worry that the person you ranted to will p on your rants. But you get over this. You could write out your problems. This doesn't get you a solution if you wanted one though. Not a certain type of person - just people who don't know how it is annoying when all you contribute to conversations is rants.

How can you safely and effectively surface clean baby toys without ruining them?

My son has toys that crinkle, chime, play cute little tunes, rattle, have all sorts of different kinds of textures, etc. that I really do not want to ruin for him. I was thinking of maybe just wiping them off with a washcloth soaked in a solution of baby wash and warm water, then line dry them. Me and my family always bicker and fight/argue when we do get together. wooow, thats just like what i am going through with this sag sun moon in scorpio which i think conjuncts pluto and also saturn but anyway i totally know what you mean by the intense stares and stuff but when he stares at me, he lingers and i am forced to look away too intense, and yes He acts nervous\awkward around me.
