Which one SUV or a car?

ok Im having trouble deciding what car or SUV I should get. The SUVs I like is Ford Escape, Mazda Tribute, and KIA Sorento. The Cars I like is Dodge Neon like the newer ones they have out now, Chevy Cobalt with two doors and Chevy Cavalier with two doors. Scion tC with two doors. But I want an SUV so that way I can have it for winter time because it is four wheel drive. But the thing is I am driving like an hour and 15 mins away from where I live to get to work. I know the SUV will be hard on gas because It is V6. But I will be done working there like end of June because I am only temp. So I need help what kind of car or suv I should really get.
