Can you paint matt over partially removed gloss. Cannot be bothered to remove all of paint?

Here again you have to make sure the paint you leave on the wall is completely smooth,Yes you can paint over partially remove gloss paint,also sand over the gloss before you paint,choose an undercoat nearest to burgundy,that way you might get away with just 1 good coat..................good luck.
