Do Cortisone shots for knee pain, last for months or just weeks?

Maureen - I think it depends on the individual. I had it put in my shoulder for chronic bursitis. It lasted for a while, but the pain came back again. Finally, a chiropractor manipulated the shoulder and all's well now! CJ
