I need some help, advice and guidance as I?
was trying to build up a case against my old employers as they had me there for 8 days and fired me without giving me a chance to get used to the job, and the manager who hired me knew that I had no house porter experience prior to getting that job.And I went to an employment rights place earlier this morning to ask about how to build up a case but he said that I had no case as I only worked there for 8 days and to pursue a case I would have had to have been an employee there for at least a year.He said that there was nothing that I could do and I couldn't get them on anything else.I was wondering is there not some sort of loophole that I could fully exploit? As I was thinking of going to the Citizens Advice Bureau and asking them if there was anymore that I could do, do you think that I should go?I just think that they could have kept me there a while longer as I would have gotten a firm grasp on what they expected from me at the job, as I might not have been perfect and I might have made a few mistakes but I was just starting there and I put in a lot of Effort was always early to work and worked really, really, really HARD!!!My manager just said that I don't seem to understand how to perform the job well enough, she didn't even give me a chance!
