I'm writing a story and I need help picking names for my characters?

I tend to use the names of people I went to school with or indeed were neighbours when I was a child although I mix up the first names and the surnames. If I can't come up with anything then I usually refer to the phone book. It's amazing what you can get from one of those. Good luck with your search and your story.
