Am I merely just afraid of commitment???

I have been dating my boyfriend for nearly 7 months now. Unfortunately, although I'm not in love with him, I do LOVE him and am EXTREMELY attracted to him. He is the kind of man I want in my life. He's deeply in love with me and says I am perfect for him and that I make him want to be a better man. He's gorgeous, affectionate, reliable, trustworthy, we have so much fun together and are very adventurous. Well... we nearly broke up a couple times recently because I've been feeling like I need to be on my own, but we end up talking through our problems and everything is good for a while until I feel afraid again. He pinpointed my issues and thinks I have a fear of commitment, which is most likely true but I still can't get over that I am not in love with him. I've been married before and the thought of marriage or settling down scares me to death!
