Should i get her vampire academy for birthday? likes twilight saga and night world?

so i was planning to get my girlfriend the 3rd installment in the Night World series and then I find out it comes out April! She loved the Twilight Saga and loves this series as well, but I asked her what she wanted for her birthday and of course gave me "a book"... so should i get her this new series -Vampire Academy or something else? she likes suspense/vampire novels and such. Thanks for your help!
